Biography and Description of Practice
Jerrold W. Hester has a Family Law practice, specializing in the area of Adoption Law and Domestic Law litigation. He practices throughout the State of Georgia and has offices in the Atlanta suburb of Norcross and St. Simons Island, Georgia. His law practice over the last 30 years has included every aspect of adoption law, including newborn adoptions, stepparent & relative adoptions, interstate adoptions, international adoption finalizations, contested adoptions and assisted reproduction. He enjoys working with other members of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys on interstate placements. Jerry is a licensed private pilot which assists him in traveling the State of Georgia and the Southeast to facilitate his adoption practice. His son, Justin Y. Hester, has joined him in his law practice since his graduation from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2000.
Jerry received his A.B. degree from The University of Georgia and his J.D. degree from The University of Georgia of Law in 1975. He and his wife Linda have been married 35 years and have two children, Justin and Amanda, and has recently become a grandfather. Jerry is an avid golfer and enjoys tennis with Linda.
Jerry has built his law practice on being responsive to the needs of his clients and strives to promote ethical practices in the practice of adoption law.
